PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia is the booking partner for two six-cabin phinisi: Sea Familia 1, up to 12 guests, and Sea Familia 2, up to 14. We sell the trips, answer your questions and answer for your booking. The owner runs the boats and sets the route on the day.
We book the boats; the owner runs them
Sea Familia 1 and Sea Familia 2 belong to their owner, who runs the boats. PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia (NIB 1805260128363) is the booking partner: we sell the trips, answer your questions and are responsible for your booking.
The crew sails the boat. The captain decides the route, the anchorage and the order of the day, and nobody in an office in Labuan Bajo overrides that. Our job is to make sure you know the plan before you pay.
This isn't the owner's website. We don't use the owner's logo or contacts, and we don't write as the owner. Wherever you see "we" here, it means the booking team in Labuan Bajo.
Where the details come from
The boat details come from the boats' own brochures, price lists and photos. Capacity is 12 guests on Sea Familia 1 and 14 on Sea Familia 2. The Sea Familia 1 private fare is confirmed in your written quote.
If a detail isn't fixed, we say how it gets confirmed. The Sea Familia 2 route is agreed in writing, and its snorkel gear is confirmed in your quote.
Nothing is added to a quote after you pay. Anything still open is confirmed in writing before the deposit, and if we can't answer a question, we mark it as open rather than guess.
Where we are
Our office is in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, at Jl. Trans Flores 35, Desa Gorontalo, 86763. The boats sail from here, and this is where we pick you up.
Labuan Bajo is the gateway to Komodo National Park, and from the harbour Kelor is about an hour away by boat, Sebayur 1.5 to 2 hours. The map above shows the stops of the listed route.

No. The boats belong to their owner, who runs them. We are the booking partner: we sell the trips, answer your questions and answer for your booking.
Where do I pay, and to whom?
You pay PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, the booking partner, by card payment link, bank transfer (IDR), Wise, Revolut, PayPal, QRIS, Alipay or WeChat Pay (through a payment partner), and the quote shows the payee and the amounts. Do not pay an individual account without a written invoice naming the company, the boat, the dates and what is included.
Can I visit the office before booking?
The office is in Labuan Bajo at Jl. Trans Flores 35, Desa Gorontalo. Drop us a WhatsApp message first, so someone is there to meet you and we can suggest the best time to come.
