For a family on a Komodo phinisi, the cabin sets the price of an open-trip seat, per person. On Sea Familia 1 a Turtle seat is IDR 5,850,000 (≈ USD 359) and a Manta seat IDR 6,850,000 (≈ USD 420). On Sea Familia 2 seats run from IDR 8,000,000 (≈ USD 491) to IDR 12,500,000 (≈ USD 767).
Sea Familia 1 has four Manta cabins on the main deck and two Turtle cabins up on the upper deck. Each has a queen-size bed, a private bathroom and air conditioning. Manta Cabin I takes an extra bed, so it sleeps 2 to 3, and the Turtle cabins have big portholes.
On Sea Familia 2 the two Master cabins are on the main deck, with an ocean view, a balcony and an outdoor bathtub. Downstairs on the lower deck are three Deluxe cabins with two single beds each, and one Family cabin with a queen bed and a bunk for 2 to 4.

A solo traveller pays one seat fare for the cabin and a couple pays two. On Sea Familia 1 you can book Manta or Turtle seats; on Sea Familia 2, Master, Deluxe or Family.
The table gives the fare for each cabin. We don't show seat counts here, because availability is confirmed in writing for the date you pick.

First, a family of four on Sea Familia 1. The parents take a Manta cabin on the main deck and the two children share Manta Cabin I, which sleeps up to 3 with its extra bed. Each cabin has its own bathroom.
Two couples on Sea Familia 2 take a Master cabin each, so both get a balcony and an outdoor bathtub and nobody walks through anyone else's room.
A family of five on Sea Familia 2 splits differently. The three children have the Family cabin, with a queen bed and a bunk for 2 to 4, and the parents take a Deluxe cabin with two single beds.

Sea Familia 2 carries 14 guests. An extra bed is confirmed and priced in your written quote.
Sea Familia 1 offers an extra bed in Manta Cabin I only, at IDR 4,795,000 (≈ USD 294) per person on an open trip. Sea Familia 2 offers one in a Master cabin only, at IDR 3,000,000 (≈ USD 184) per person. No other cabin on either boat takes an extra bed.
That extra bed is meant for a third person: a child in Manta Cabin I, say, or a third adult or a teenager in a Master cabin. Both fares are per person and apply to open-trip seats only.
Children under 3 travel free with a parent or guardian; from 3 the full fare applies. Where a baby sleeps is agreed in writing with the cabin plan.
Four people in two Manta cabins pay four seat fares at IDR 6,850,000 (≈ USD 420) each. The whole of Sea Familia 1 for the same four costs IDR 97,100,000 (≈ USD 5,957) for 3 days and 2 nights. What you're paying for is who else is aboard.
On an open trip you share the boat, the lunch table and the snorkel stops with other guests. On a private charter you don't. They're simply two different ways to travel.

If the booked Sea Familia cannot sail for a reason beyond our control, we arrange a replacement boat of the same class, or refund you in full within 14 days.
