Sample day one: Kelor for a short climb, Manjarite for a first snorkel, Kalong at sunset. Day two: the Padar ridge walk and Pink Beach. Day three: the Komodo ranger walk, Manta Point and, at low tide, Taka Makassar.
Sample day four is the new one. It holds a second long snorkel at the stop your people liked best, in shallow water and without a schedule, then the return to Labuan Bajo with the time confirmed in writing.
Where the boat spends the night depends on the weather and the captain's decision that day.

Where the extra day is best spent
Spend it where the water is easy. Pink Beach is 1 to 8 m deep with a mild current, and the sand takes its pink tint from fragments of red coral. A second visit costs nothing in effort and the children are already confident.
Taka Makassar is the other choice. The sandbar shows only at low tide, the reef around it is 1 to 5 m deep, and shade on the sand is minimal, so bring a hat. Operators pair it with Manta Point on the same day.
A second try at Manta Point is possible when the first drift shows nothing. Sightings depend on tide and current, mantas are often seen from December to February and from July to September, and none is ever promised.

For a party of eight, that is IDR 21,450,000 (≈ USD 1,316) each. Private charters on Sea Familia 1 for other lengths than 3 days and 2 nights are priced on request and confirmed in writing.
Staying with three days instead
Three days is the length most families choose. The three-day route has a listed Sea Familia 1 version and a published rate for both boats, and it fits the Komodo walk, Manta Point and a calm snorkel with no rush.
Choose four days when the water is the point: a group of friends who want two long snorkels a day, or a family whose children took to the mask on day one. Choose three when the rest of the holiday needs the days.
Either way the stops are agreed in writing, the captain decides the order on the day, and the price is per boat.
FAQ
Is a fourth day worth it for children?
Often, because the extra day lets them repeat a stop they liked rather than move on. The water stays shallow and the pace drops. A fourth day aboard is still a long trip for under-fives. Children under 3 travel free with a parent or guardian; from 3 the full fare applies.
Do the extra days change the park fees?
Komodo National Park tickets and ranger fees are never part of the fare. The ticket is a per-person amount, and the amounts are on the park fees page. How many entry days your route needs depends on the stops agreed in writing.
Can we add a day after booking?
Ask us before you pay the balance. A longer trip is a different rate, priced per boat for the new length, and we confirm the new total and the dates in writing before anything changes.
